Frank Slide Solid Terrain Model
GeoSolutions is pleased to announce the completion of a 3D solid terrain model of Frank Slide, a massive rockslide-avalanche located in Crowsnest Pass in the Canadian Rockies. Produced under our VAR agreement with Solid Terrain Modeling of Fillmore, CA, this stunning 3D solid terrain model will be delivered in the new year to the Frank Slide Interpretative Centre in Alberta.
This spectacular 3D terrain model will be featured in an article on the Frank Slide in Canadian Geographic's March/April 2003 issue.
For more information on 3D visualization, visit our recently launched 3d.geosolutions.com site.
3D solid terrain models such as these, showcase our capabilities to source and integrate a wide range of geographic and terrain data, as well as our ability to collaborate with industry leaders such as STM. Solid terrain models provide a clear visual understanding of a wide variety of geographic landscapes, and can be constructed in nearly any size, which can be featured in museum exhibits, trade show displays and public kiosks. As a result, GeoSolutions is interested in working with exhibit management companies, and is currently collaborating with Total Area International Exhibit Management of Ottawa to deliver complete exhibit solutions that include solid terrain models.
