GeoSolutions is moving to a new and larger location. The new building features a new, training facility for MapInfo and related training courses. It also features a larger area for our MapInfo customer-support as well as shipping and receiving area to accommodate our expanded MapInfo product re-distribution network. GeoSolutions Joins Team Canada on Trade Mission to the Far East

GeoSolutions Vice President of Products & Services, Clark Beattie, participated in the recent Geomatics Business Mission to Malaysia and Thailand. The Mission consisted of some of Canada's most prominent Geomatics/Geospatial companies. The purpose of the trade mission, which was co-sponsored by the Geomatics Industry Association of Canada (GIAC) and the Canadian International Development Agency, Industrial Cooperation Program (CIDA-INC) was to further develop improved trade relationships in the Geomatics/Geospatial information sector between Canada and Malaysia and Thailand. Municipal Applications Forums

GeoSolutions provides Development Tracking and Asset Management software applications that can assist local governments and other other agencies to improve the quality and efficiency of the core business activities. Municipal Application Forums have been hosted by GeoSolutions in locations throughout Ontario this fall to provide a detailed overview of GIS and municipal applications. These are integrated with both web and desktop GIS applications and will work in a client-server environment using either Access, Oracle or SQL and will soon be offered in an Internet ASP version.

MAINTAIN — A comprehensive Work Management System for Local Government Programs and Services. A great tool that provides support for capital project planning and scheduling while managing both human and physical resources. LANDINFO — A Land Information Management tool that is tailored for Planning related activities in Ontario. LandInfo can store property and permit details in an organized manner for easy reference and report generation. The tracking features ensure that all steps in the issuing of permits are logged.
