Municipality of Clarington - Development Tracking Configuration

GeoSolutions Consulting Inc. is contracted to the Municipality of Clarington (Ontario) to assist with the implementation of the Autodesk AMP Development Tracking System. This three phased project entails the development and verification of Business Process Models for municipal planning and permitting activities, the configuration of the Permitting System for Building Services and the configuration of the Tracking System for development applications for the Planning Department.

The following list of tasks performed on the configuration of the AMP Development Tracking System for Clarington Building Services provides an example of the technical configuration capabilities GeoSolutions can offer:

  • Develop detailed business process models for the tracking of all major building permit types.
  • Develop standards and requirements for common AMP configurations (People, Roles, Responsibilities, Relationships, User Accounts, etc.)
  • Configure custom data entry screens and nomenclature to Clarington's specific process requirements
  • Configure the tracking of all Tasks and Inspections related to Residential and ICI Building Permit processes.
  • Configure tracking system with all staff positions and management relationships, including Inspectors and Inspector Qualifications for use with task assignment and work tracking.
  • Configure automated generation of Permit Fees, Municipal and Regional Levies for all construction types
  • Configure automated generation and printing of Receipts
  • Develop and integrate custom reports, using Crystal Reports, for Daily Inspections, monthly and annual Permits Issued Summaries, etc.
  • Develop and provide training to all support and operations staff on the configured system
